In a way, yes! Our body indeed runs on electricity. For this to happen, our neurons have to communicate with one another quickly. These neurons shoot impulses or “zaps” which resemble electricity. Scientists call this as living electricity and it’s proven that our neurons generate this electricity on their own by actively moving charged ions in and out of the cell.
